Seeking an Audit Manager/Sr. Audit Manager with 7-10+ years of public accounting assurance experience to lead a high-volume portfolio, oversee teams, manage client relationships, and drive business development. Strong Yellow Book/GAGAS experience and success growing business through referrals are highly valued. Must be a full-cycle auditor capable of taking engagements from planning through final issuance—not a specialist focused on one audit area. This is a hands-on role for someone willing to stay in the trenches.

Qualifications

• Active Florida CPA or actively pursuing licensure
• 7-10+ years of public accounting assurance experience
• Proven high-volume engagement management experience
• Full-cycle audit experience from planning through issuance
• Willingness to remain hands-on and work in the trenches alongside the audit team
• Demonstrated business development, referral, networking, and client growth success
• Strong audit, internal control, risk assessment, compliance, and GAGAS/Yellow Book expertise
• Excellent client communication and leadership skills

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and review multiple concurrent engagements from beginning to end hands-on
• Oversee risk assessments, testing, controls, workpapers, and final reports
• Ensure GAGAS/Yellow Book and regulatory compliance
• Evaluate fraud, waste, and abuse controls
• Oversee specialized compliance engagements, including FEFP audits
• Manage budgets, staffing, deadlines, and profitability
• Serve as key client contact and resolve complex issues
• Develop new business through referrals, networking, proposals, and relationships
• Mentoring

Ideal for a seasoned, hands-on assurance leader who can manage a substantial portfolio, take audits from start to finish, grow client relationships, and still roll up their sleeves when needed.
