About the Opportunity:
A well-established law firm in Memphis is seeking a motivated Litigation/Probate Attorney to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who thrives in the courtroom, values client relationships, and wants to build a long-term career with a firm that offers professional growth and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle probate, estate, and trust litigation matters from intake through resolution.
• Represent clients in contested probate matters, will contests, guardianships, and related disputes.
• Manage general litigation matters as assigned.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Appear in court, conduct hearings, and handle trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license (in good standing) with the Tennessee State Bar.
• Minimum 2–10 years of litigation experience; probate/estate litigation strongly preferred.
• Litigation: business disputes, business litigation, personal injury, probate administration
• Small Transactional: business buy/sell matters, largely from probate cases
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently while working collaboratively with a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
