Responsibilities:

• Handle a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, employment disputes, and other commercial litigation cases.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Participate in discovery, depositions, hearings, and trials as required.
• Analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Collaborate effectively with partners, senior associates, and clients to provide high-quality legal representation.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Virginia.
• A minimum of 2 years of solid experience in commercial litigation at a reputable law firm or relevant legal setting.
• Strong understanding of civil procedure, legal research, and excellent legal writing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle cases independently and contribute effectively within a team environment.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality work and providing excellent client service.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
