We are seeking a skilled and motivated Real Estate Paralegal to join our growing legal team near Como, Mississippi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate transactions and be proficient in Qualia software. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal looking to contribute to a dynamic and supportive legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and review of residential and commercial real estate documents, including contracts, leases, deeds, and closing documents.
- Manage and coordinate real estate closings from start to finish, including title searches, order of title commitments, and preparation of closing statements.
- Conduct due diligence, including research on property titles and legal documents.
- Collaborate with clients, real estate agents, and attorneys to ensure smooth transaction processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Manage and maintain client files and records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Utilize Qualia software to assist with closing workflows, document management, and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a real estate paralegal, with a focus on residential and commercial real estate transactions.
- Proficiency in Qualia software is required.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal real estate laws and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
