LEAD SUPERINTENDENT - MULTIFAMILY CONSTRUCTION

A leading national Developer/Builder is seeking a Lead Superintendent with experience leading Multifamily projects. If you are a Superintendent with talent, initiative, and drive, you are who they want on their team. Projects include garden apartments, mid to high rise wrap and podium, and mixed-use developments.

Superintendents are provided with the necessary support and resources to succeed in their role and make sure all projects are completed to the highest standard. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and supervise all construction activities.
  • Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule.
  • Maintains open, daily communications on projects to PM and administrative staff
  • Create and update project schedules for on-time delivery.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and performance of field personnel and their crews.
  • Completes daily reports and daily timesheets on the job site.
  • Attend meetings on and off-site as directed.
  • Promotes safety practices and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial/multifamily construction with a General Contractor or Developer/Builder
  • Strong knowledge of the multifamily construction industry and the quality standards 
  • Expertise in site development and apartment building construction methods
  • Ability to read and understand plans, specifications and scope of work is required
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines
  • Extensive knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
