Insurance Coverage Attorney

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Compensation: $125,000 – $175,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Insurance Coverage Attorney to join a dynamic legal team in Scottsdale, Arizona. In this role, you will analyze coverage issues across a wide range of policies and work closely alongside experienced coverage partners to draft formal coverage opinions for insurer clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex insurance policies and coverage issues across various lines of insurance.

• Draft formal, well-reasoned coverage opinions for insurer clients.

• Collaborate directly with partners to develop strategies on coverage matters.

• Provide clear, articulate explanations of policy nuances and legal frameworks.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years of legal experience, with dedicated insurance coverage analysis experience strongly preferred.

• Bar Admission: Active admission to the Arizona State Bar, or eligibility for admission via reciprocity/motion.

• Skills: Exceptional legal research, analytical, and writing skills, with demonstrated experience drafting coverage opinions.

• Professional Attributes: Strong legal judgment, high attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex legal and policy issues effectively.
