A highly respected global AmLaw firm is seeking a Business Litigation Attorney with 3–5 years of civil litigation experience to join its elite Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in its Pittsburgh, PA office.
This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-stakes commercial matters within a collaborative, well-resourced team while maintaining meaningful autonomy and direct client interaction. The ideal candidate is sharp, proactive, and ready to take ownership of complex litigation from intake through resolution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage litigation matters from inception through conclusion
Conduct factual investigations, legal research, and client communications
Draft memos, pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
Prepare for and conduct depositions; argue motions
Lead and coordinate all phases of discovery, including e-discovery
Prepare for and participate in hearings and trials
Contribute to business development and client service initiatives
Qualifications
3–5 years of civil litigation experience, specifically in business/commercial litigation
Excellent writing and drafting skills; ability to produce clear, concise legal documents
Strong legal research and analytical abilities
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Pennsylvania
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively under demanding deadlines
