A well-established regional law firm with a strong reputation in civil defense litigation is seeking a Senior Insurance Defense Attorney (7–10 years of experience) to join its growing Pennsylvania practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned litigator who is looking for a collaborative environment, meaningful case responsibility, and long-term growth within a stable and respected firm.
The ideal candidate will independently manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution, including:
Automobile liability
Premises liability
General liability
Catastrophic injury and wrongful death matters
Coverage and complex liability disputes (preferred but not required)
Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation
Draft and argue dispositive motions
Conduct and defend depositions
Evaluate liability and damages exposure
Communicate directly with insurance carriers and clients
Develop litigation strategy and case budgets
7–10 years of insurance defense litigation experience
Active Pennsylvania Bar admission (required)
Strong deposition and motion practice experience
Trial experience preferred
Ability to manage files independently
Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
Strong regional presence with a steady pipeline of defense work
