Job Description

I am partnered with a well-established Electrical Contractor who is urgently ready to add an Electrical Service Manager to their team.

Job Summary:

The Service Manager will be accountable for the supervision of Service Department personnel, and projects including installations, performance, profitability, and customer/client satisfaction.  They will perform work within an established time frame and ensure that work is done in conformance with quality work standards, projected man-hours, within established company guidelines, and regulatory compliance requirements.  Applicant must have a high level of interpersonal relationship skills, excellent communications, and organizational skills, and highly computer literate.

 

Job Duties:

 

  • Report to the Operations Manager and interact with other support staff (Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, and other Corporate service staff).
  • Interact with owners, owner representatives, architects, engineers, trade contractors, vendors, and others who are associated with project related activities.
  • Serve on various committees and participate in special trade-related activities and events.
  • Responsible for all Service Department contract administration and execution.
  • Responsible for the management, planning and directing of project activities, monitoring field installation processes, coaching staff and field personnel, and developing/maintaining customer/client relationships.
