Remote Transportation Sales Representative

As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a results-driven Remote Sales Representative based in the Houston area to lead business development efforts and drive revenue growth.

Position Summary: As a Transportation Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing new freight customers while expanding relationships with existing clients. This is a fully remote role, supported by a strong internal operations and carrier management team to help you focus on selling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for new business through outbound calls, virtual meetings, and online networking.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of shippers and manufacturers in need of freight solutions.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with customers across multiple freight modes (FTL, LTL, intermodal, etc.).
  • Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure on-time pickups, deliveries, and issue resolution.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to build long-term, high-value relationships.
  • Maintain accurate activity records in CRM and report regularly on sales progress.

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in transportation sales, freight brokerage, or logistics.
  • Demonstrated success in a remote sales or independent contributor role.
  • A strong understanding of freight transportation markets and pricing strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-discipline and accountability in a remote work environment.
  • Must live in the Greater Houston, TX area (for occasional client visits).

Compensation: Base Salary: $70,000 – $140,000 (based on experience) Generous commissions Six-figure+ earning potential in year one for high performers
