Family Law Attorney (3–6 Years Experience)

A well-established boutique law firm in Houston is seeking a Family Law Attorney with 3–6 years of experience to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who values hands-on work, client relationships, and a collaborative in-office environment.

Position Overview

The ideal attorney will have solid experience handling family law matters from intake through resolution, including litigation and negotiated outcomes. This role offers meaningful responsibility, strong mentorship, and the opportunity to grow within a close-knit firm.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a family law caseload, including divorce, custody, support, and related matters
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and court proceedings
  • Provide strategic legal advice with a client-focused approach
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and staff in a boutique firm setting

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of family law experience
  • Licensed attorney and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
  • Strong litigation, negotiation, and writing skills
  • Ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively
  • Professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented approach to client advocacy
