Our client is a growing community bank known for local decisions and long-term relationships. It's looking for a Commercial Loan Officer to develop new business and manage a commercial loan portfolio in the Springfield area.

What you'll do:

• Develop new commercial business, CRE, C&I.
• Structure and underwrite C&I, CRE and equipment loans and present them to the loan committee
• Manage your portfolio: renewals, annual reviews, covenant tracking and risk ratings
• Cross-sell deposits, treasury management and other bank services
• Represent the bank in the Springfield business community through chambers, civic boards and referral networks

What you bring:

• 3 to 5+ years of commercial lending or credit experience
• Strong credit analysis skills: business and personal financials, cash flow, collateral
• A proven book of business or existing relationships in the Springfield market
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field; formal credit training a plus
• A self-starter with strong communication and relationship skills
