Job Description

Associate Attorney – Employment Law (Remote – California)

A busy boutique employment law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with strong civil litigation experience to join its practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who values flexibility, meaningful work, and the chance to play a key role in a developing plaintiff-side practice. This fully remote position focuses primarily on single-plaintiff FEHA matters. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of civil litigation experience, with a preference for those who have worked in employment law or are eager to develop that specialty. You’ll take on a wide range of litigation responsibilities, including discovery, motion practice, and depositions, with the opportunity for significant ownership of your cases.

This is a great fit for someone who is proactive, independent, and comfortable managing a busy caseload with minimal oversight. Attorneys from a plaintiff-side civil litigation background or those transitioning from defense-side employment law are both encouraged to apply.

What We are Looking For:

  • At least 3 years of civil litigation experience
  • Employment law (FEHA) experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong skills in discovery, depositions, and motion practice
  • California Bar admission in good standing
  • Self-directed and organized, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting

What’s Offered:

  • Remote work flexibility
  • Competitive compensation (DOE)
  • Substantial bonus potential
  • Meaningful, hands-on litigation experience
  • Supportive mentorship and professional development
  • Benefits package

If you are looking for a role that offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to grow with a thriving plaintiff-side practice, apply today!
