Associate Attorney – Business Litigation (San Diego, CA)

A dynamic and established litigation boutique is seeking a civil litigation associate with 2–8 years of civil litigation experience to join its growing team in San Diego. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a strong litigation foundation who’s looking for mentorship, meaningful case responsibility, and exposure to a broad range of civil and business matters. This is a great opportunity to join a collegial, stable, and well-respected practice that offers high-level work and real room for growth.

About the Role:
This position focuses primarily on business litigation, with additional exposure to employment law, real estate disputes, and complex commercial conflicts. Candidates should be comfortable managing files independently and have experience in discovery, depositions, motion practice, and court appearances. First-chair deposition or arbitration experience is a plus but not required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2–8 years of recent litigation experience
  • Ability to initiate and manage a case from start to finish
  • Strong legal writing and communication skills
  • Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
  • Background in business litigation, employment law, insurance defense, or general liability
