NICET III Sprinkler Designer in Auburn

Job Description

GPAC stands for growing people and companies and we have an opportunity for a NICET III Sprinkler Designer that does not need to be passed up.  Excellent and efficient Fire Supporession Company is in search for experienced and excelling Fire Sprinkler Designer.

• Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and codes to determine the scope of work for fire sprinkler systems.
• Design fire sprinkler systems in accordance with industry codes and standards, including NFPA 13, 13D, and 13R.
• Perform hydraulic calculations to determine the water supply and pressure requirements for fire sprinkler systems.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings, schematics, and material take-offs for fire sprinkler systems.
• Coordinate with other trades and disciplines, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure the fire sprinkler systems are integrated seamlessly into the overall building design.
• Review and approve submittals, as-built drawings, and other documentation related to fire sprinkler systems.
• Perform field inspections and provide guidance during the installation of fire sprinkler systems.
• Maintains and updates knowledge of the latest fire sprinkler codes, standards and technologies.

Qualifications:

• NICET Level III Water Based Layout Certification
• 3+ years of experience in designing and installing fire sprinkler systems in commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards, including NFPA 13, 13D, and 13R.
• Proficient in using AutoCAD and hydraulic calculation software.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong ability to work independently and in a team environment.
