Position Overview

The Tax Manager (or higher-level position) will oversee client engagements, mentor team members, and contribute to the strategic direction of the firm. This is a client-facing leadership role with an emphasis on quality service, technical expertise, and proactive planning.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and review complex individual, business, and trust tax returns

  • Lead tax planning and advisory services for clients in various industries

  • Supervise and mentor staff and seniors

  • Conduct tax research and present practical solutions

  • Build and sustain long-term client relationships

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency

  • Support business development and firm growth initiatives


Qualifications:

  • Active CPA license required

  • 7+ years of tax experience in public accounting

  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills

  • Expertise in federal and multi-state tax compliance and planning

  • Experience with closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals

  • Familiarity with tax software and workflow tools
