Commercial Construction Project Manager
Helena, Montana

An award-winning Helena area commercial general contractor is looking to add a Project Manager to their team. 

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in the full life cycle of a project, working closely with field leadership, clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects moving from preconstruction through closeout.

The right person will be organized, decisive, relationship-driven, and comfortable taking ownership of schedule, cost, communication, and overall project execution.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through turnover
• Developing and maintaining project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
• Managing subcontractor buyout, contracts, change orders, and pay applications
• Coordinating closely with Superintendents to maintain schedules and field productivity
• Leading owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings
• Managing RFIs, submittals, procurement, and project documentation
• Monitoring project risk and resolving issues before they impact cost or schedule
• Maintaining strong relationships with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and vendors
• Supporting project closeout, punch list completion, and final turnover
• Providing leadership and mentorship to Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers

What We’re Looking For

• Commercial construction Project Management experience
• Experience with a commercial general contractor
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, estimating, cost control, buyout, and subcontractor management
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound project decisions
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills
• Experience managing ground-up and/or large-scale commercial projects
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
