This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Agronomist to manage and grow customer relationships in the agronomy field at an industry leading Iowa Ag Orginization. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, ensuring positive client relations, and driving business growth. If you are a results-driven professional with strong leadership and sales skills, this is the role for you!

Sales Agronomist Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Identify and engage new clients through networking and cold calls.
  • Design and execute sales strategies within an assigned region or industry.
  • Match client needs with appropriate products by applying agronomy knowledge.
  • Provide product information, quotes, and terms while preparing and submitting contracts.
  • Negotiate prices, terms of sales, and service agreements with clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure order accuracy and timely distribution.
  • Prepare and present account updates and sales results to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Sales Agronomist Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in agronomy or a related industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated sales, negotiation, and customer service expertise.
  • Effective leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.
