Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager with structural steel experience to lead and oversee safety operations for our field and shop teams in Las Vegas. This is a local position with no travel required. The ideal candidate will have hands-on construction safety experience, strong knowledge of steel erection operations, and the ability to work directly with ironworkers and field leadership.
This role is critical in maintaining a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement site-specific work plans and safety plans
Ensure ironworkers and field personnel complete all required safety documentation and certifications
Conduct weekly safety meetings for both field crews and shop personnel
Perform routine jobsite and shop walkthroughs to identify and correct potential hazards
Maintain OSHA compliance and proper safety documentation
Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions when necessary
Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters
Qualifications
Required:
Experience in structural steel or steel erection safety
Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety regulations
OSHA certifications (OSHA 30 minimum preferred)
Ability to work collaboratively with field crews and leadership
Preferred:
CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) certification
CSP (Certified Safety Professional) certification
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or related field (not required but a plus)

Competitive salary: $100,000 – $120,000
