This is one of four strategic sales hires being made across key U.S. logistics hubs, and the growth path for this role is significant. High performers will be positioned for future management opportunities as the regional team scales.

Why This Role Is Different

You won’t just be another salesperson on an existing team—you’ll be a foundational sales hire in one of the most important logistics markets in the U.S. You’ll have the autonomy to build, the backing of a high-growth company, and a real path to future management if you excel.

About the Role

We are seeking a sharp, strategic, and globally fluent logistics sales leader who thrives in a high-tech, high-performance environment. You will drive new business and expand key accounts across air, ocean, cross-border, and customs brokerage solutions, leveraging a deep understanding of international trade, multimodal freight, and NVOCC processes.

This is a role for someone who:

  • Loves challenges.
  • Exceeds sales targets.
  • Operates with a global mindset.
  • Thinks like a strategist.
  • Wants a role that can evolve into leadership.

As a Global logistics Sales Executive, you’ll work with dynamic partners and clients across EMEA, APAC, the EU, Canada, Mexico, and the U.S., helping shape the company’s continued growth in one of the largest logistics markets in the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow new business and expand enterprise accounts
  • Manage full-cycle sales across air, ocean (FCL/LCL), cross-border, and customs brokerage services
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on global trade, multimodal transportation, and NVOCC operations
  • Build strong relationships with global partners and stakeholders across multiple regions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operational execution
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
  • Track pipeline, performance, and forecasting through CRM and logistics platforms
  • Act as a foundational member of a growing regional sales team—with potential for future leadership

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5–10+ years in International Freight Forwarding, NVOCC Sales, Multimodal Transport, or Trade Tech solutions
  • Strong working knowledge of global customs, import/export compliance, and end-to-end freight processes
  • Proven success exceeding revenue goals and growing key accounts
  • Experience selling in a high-tech or digitized logistics environment
  • Comfortable working with tools like JD Edwards, CargoWise, Salesforce, and modern logistics platforms
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach
  • Bilingual strongly preferred (any language)

This is a remote role, but candidates must reside in the Greater Chicago Area, defined as:

  • Chicago and its suburbs
  • 13 counties across IL, IN, and WI
