Job Description

This company specializes in civil, heavy highway, and municipal projects, with an average bid range of $750K–$1M, and has recently secured a $13M project. They are open to hiring at either the Senior Estimator or Junior Estimator level, depending on experience and capabilities.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, heavy highway, and municipal projects

• Perform quantity take-offs (required for Junior-level candidates)

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents

• Assist with bid preparation and submission

• Work within typical bid ranges of $750K–$1M+

Software Used:

• Bid2Win

• Insight Dirt Modeling

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of heavy civil estimating experience

• Experience in highway and/or municipal work preferred

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
