An established and reputable agricultural business in central Missouri is in need of a Diesel Mechanic. This individual will be responsible for performing hands-on diesel repair and maintenance, primarily working on semi-trucks and other diesel trucks, with potential exposure to agricultural equipment as well.
Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:
Perform diesel repair and maintenance on semi-trucks and other diesel trucks
Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot equipment as needed
Complete general maintenance and repairs to keep equipment operating efficiently
Work on a variety of equipment within an established diesel repair shop
Assist with additional mechanical needs as they arise
Diesel Mechanic Qualifications:
Previous diesel mechanic or heavy equipment repair experience
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Experience working on semi-trucks and diesel engines preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Agricultural equipment experience is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
$25–$40/hour, depending on experience
Health insurance offered
Potential performance-based bonus structure
