Gpac and a well-established company in the commercial construction industry are partnered to hire an experienced Assistant Project Manager. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for the right candidate looking for new challenges, opportunity for growth and a change in their career.

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and participating in construction projects, collaborating with project teams, providing technical guidance, and making sure projects are completed on-time, within budget and in accordance with safety regulations.

Essential job functions of the Assistant Project Manager include:

- Manage and ensure the timely completion of all construction projects
- Collaborate with project teams from initial phases to completion
- Ensure all resources are identified and allocated according to specifications
- Monitor the progress of all projects, provide technical guidance to staff and contractors
- Analyze and address barriers to progress, and update project teams accordingly
- Develop and maintain project budgets, and review cost estimates
- Prepare progress reports and present progress updates to project teams
- Ensure safety regulations and industry standards are met on all projects

The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience in the construction industry, a degree preferred. They should also have the ability to work efficiently and independently, excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.
