Established Commercial General Contractor | Long-Term Growth Opportunities
A well-established, reputable commercial general contractor is looking to add an experienced, hands-on Project Manager to its growing team in Southeast Michigan.
With several projects throughout the region and an upcoming project in the Southeast Michigan area, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work, being involved in day-to-day construction operations, and working alongside a strong leadership team.
We're looking for a DOER—someone who knows how to manage projects from start to finish, stays involved in the details, and takes pride in delivering successful results.
Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Take ownership of project budgets, schedules, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and project stakeholders.
Work closely with Superintendents to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Maintain strong communication with clients, owners, and construction leadership.
Identify and resolve project challenges proactively.
Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure quality standards are met.
Spend time on-site, staying actively involved in daily construction operations.
Proven Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor.
Experience managing commercial construction projects valued at $20M–$30M+ preferred.
Background in multifamily, commercial renovations, high-rise, or other complex construction projects is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of construction budgets, scheduling, subcontractor management, and project documentation.
Experience with Procore and Microsoft Project.
Comfortable working independently and managing projects with minimal oversight.
Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to be present on jobsites and commute to projects throughout Southeast Michigan.
