Job Description

Gpac is working with an established equipment service and repair company that is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the role of General Manager. 

This General Manager opportunity will provide a competitive base pay compensation package, great benefits, and also the opportunity for a performance bonus!!

General Manager Responsibilities:

• Develops, maintains, and adheres to a priority system for scheduling all service work
• Manages work order systems, including invoice logging, and generate service invoices
• Schedules and assigns job and work areas to employees according to their skills and knowledge
• Ensures that Service Department is equipped with the necessary tools, and service equipment is available and maintained in good working order
• Conducts self in a professional manner at all times, inside and outside the company
• Monitors metrics on a monthly basis to assure achievement of departmental goals
• Performs other functions or duties as directed by management in line with the objectives of the company

General Manager Requirements:

• Experience in a Service Manager Position and background as a Service Tech/Mechanic
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Being able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, sense of urgency, and handle people and pressure in a positive manner
• Being able to lead a team of up to 15 technicians
