Operations Manager - Insurance Agency
Office Manager duties include:
- Managing our social media presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, as well as our blog
- Ordering and maintaining inventory of office supplies, tech equipment, and food and beverages
- Planning and executing events, such as our State of CAL, Open House,
- Assisting with accounting tasks, such as generating commission statements, printing, and mailing checks, and providing reports as necessary
- Reporting commission payable to our payroll company
- Onboarding and offboarding employees / working with our outside HR consulting company
- Calling and paying vendors
- Handling technical issues with EPIC, Centarus, Zoom, Hawksoft and Comcast
- Scanning mail, distributing it to the correct people, and dropping it off at UPS, USPS, or FedEx when necessary
- Performing even small tasks, such as setting up Zoom meetings and making sure the office is tidy & in good order Submitting sick/vacation/reimbursement requests to our payroll company
- Tracking new business referrals and sending out monthly email distributions
- Running internal reports & distributing them as required
