I am working directly with a respected San Antonio defense firm that is hiring a Civil Litigation Associate with 2–5 years of experience. The Civil Litigation Associate will work closely with a shareholder who has spent about 25 years at the firm practicing civil litigation, insurance defense, insurance coverage and civil appeals.
Compensation is market-competitive and commensurate with experience, with performance-based bonus potential.
What You'll Do
- Handle insurance defense and related civil litigation: auto and trucking, premises, products and wrongful death matters
- Work insurance coverage disputes, including declaratory judgment and bad faith matters
- Run discovery, take depositions, and handle motion practice, hearings and appellate briefing
What We Need
- 2–5 years of civil litigation experience, ideally insurance defense or coverage
- Strong legal writing (coverage memos and appellate briefing a plus)
- Texas law license in good standing
- Based in San Antonio or willing to relocate
