Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Trust and Probate Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in trust administration, probate processes, and estate planning. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys and clients, playing a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient case management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with all aspects of trust and probate administration, including filing petitions and motions with the court.
  • Draft legal documents, including wills, trusts, and probate pleadings.
  • Prepare and organize case files, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Conduct legal research related to trust and probate law.
  • Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, and financial institutions regarding case status and documentation requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation of inventories, accountings, and other necessary filings.

Qualifications:

  • Paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
  • 3+ Years of civil litigation experience (trust and probate litigation is preferred but not necessary)
  • Strong understanding of California probate and trust law.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
