A highly regarded regional law firm is seeking a talented and motivated Business/Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Kansas City office. The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of business and commercial litigation experience, with a strong background in handling complex cases and delivering high-quality representation to clients.

Manage all aspects of business and commercial litigation, including responsive pleadings, discovery, and depositions.
Strategize and evaluate cases under partner/shareholder supervision.
Collaborate with expert witnesses and attend court appearances.
Negotiate case resolutions and prepare matters for trial.
Maintain effective communication and strong relationships with clients.
3–5 years of litigation experience in business/commercial matters.
Passion for areas such as insurance coverage, creditor rights, construction, real estate, and employment litigation.
Strong case management skills with the ability to take ownership of files.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Efficiency, value-driven work ethic, and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
