As a Commercial Lines Manager, you will play a key leadership role in shaping the future and continued growth of the agency. This position is ideal for an experienced commercial insurance professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about operational excellence and client service.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a select portfolio of high-value Commercial Lines clients, ensuring exceptional service and retention
Develop, refine, and implement departmental workflows and procedures to improve efficiency and consistency
Partner closely with the Director of Commercial Lines to oversee day-to-day departmental operations
Identify and support growth opportunities, including cross-selling strategies and expanded coverage solutions
Drive departmental performance and contribute to the achievement of agency-wide goals
Continuously enhance the client experience by maintaining high service standards and client satisfaction
Prepare and analyze monthly performance reports to track progress against departmental objectives
Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carrier partners
Foster a positive, productive, and collaborative team culture
Provide training and support to ensure effective use of the agency management system and carrier platforms
Participate in staff evaluations and assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
Perform additional leadership and operational duties as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance
Active Property & Casualty License
Strong proficiency with Applied Epic (highly preferred)
Proven leadership ability with a high level of accountability and initiative
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
