Job Description

As a Commercial Lines Manager, you will play a key leadership role in shaping the future and continued growth of the agency. This position is ideal for an experienced commercial insurance professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about operational excellence and client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a select portfolio of high-value Commercial Lines clients, ensuring exceptional service and retention

• Develop, refine, and implement departmental workflows and procedures to improve efficiency and consistency

• Partner closely with the Director of Commercial Lines to oversee day-to-day departmental operations

• Identify and support growth opportunities, including cross-selling strategies and expanded coverage solutions

• Drive departmental performance and contribute to the achievement of agency-wide goals

• Continuously enhance the client experience by maintaining high service standards and client satisfaction

• Prepare and analyze monthly performance reports to track progress against departmental objectives

• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carrier partners

• Foster a positive, productive, and collaborative team culture

• Provide training and support to ensure effective use of the agency management system and carrier platforms

• Participate in staff evaluations and assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members

• Perform additional leadership and operational duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance

• Active Property & Casualty License

• Strong proficiency with Applied Epic (highly preferred)

• Proven leadership ability with a high level of accountability and initiative

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

• Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
