Agronomy Account Manager in Kokomo

Job Description

Gpac is working with a reputable Agronomy company in the area that is looking to add an Agronomy Account Manager to their team. This family-oriented company prides itself on providing exceptional customer service to its clients. This position offers a flexible work schedule, company vehicle, laptop, and cell phone. The Account Manager will be given a book of business and expected to grow it. 

Agronomy Account Manager Responsibilities:

• Make seed, fertilizer and chemical recommendations to growers
• Work alongside other agronomists to carry out daily responsibilities
• Facilitate positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote long term repeat business
• Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful transactions
• Forecast supply requirements buy month and annual basis
• Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently
• Keep up to date on all agronomy services and technology, including seed,  Precision Farming technology, finance and marketing tools

Agronomy Account Manager Qualifications:

• 1+ years of agronomy related experience preferred
• A degree in Agronomy/Agriculture preferred or equivalent experience
• Self-motivated, ability to work independently and with a team
