Plaintiff-Side Employment Litigation Associate – Wage & Hour Focus | San Diego, CA
A well-established plaintiff-side employment law firm based in Downtown San Diego is seeking a litigation associate with 3–5 years of experience, particularly in wage-and-hour class actions. This is a great opportunity to join a mission-driven team known for its work protecting employee rights across California.
This role offers hands-on litigation responsibilities without the pressure of billable hours, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in high-stakes employment cases.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 3–5 years in employment litigation, ideally with wage-and-hour class action experience; plaintiff-side preferred, but strong defense-side candidates are welcome
Licensed: Active member of the California Bar
Skills: Excellent legal writing and advocacy skills, with courtroom experience and a collaborative mindset
What You’ll Do:
Handle discovery, depositions, and motion practice with autonomy
Partner with senior attorneys on strategy, client relations, and trial preparation
Participate in court appearances, mediations, and negotiations
