Civil Litigation Associate Attorney – Washington State
GPAC has partnered with a respected and well-established regional law firm that is actively seeking a Civil Litigation Associate Attorney to join its collaborative legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated attorney to gain hands-on experience and grow within a firm that handles a wide range of civil litigation matters.
This role involves working on cases from inception through resolution, including legal research, drafting motions and pleadings, managing discovery, and attending depositions, hearings, and settlement conferences. The successful candidate will play a vital role in serving clients across multiple jurisdictions and industries.
The position offers a hybrid work model—with the ability to work remotely several days per week and collaborate in-office as needed. The firm supports flexibility while maintaining a strong sense of community and mentorship among its attorneys.
Handle a variety of civil litigation cases across different practice areas
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs
Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and mediations (as experience allows)
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members
Manage multiple case files with attention to deadlines and details
2–8 years of civil litigation experience
Trial experience is a plus, but not required
Must be licensed to practice law in Washington
J.D. from an accredited law school
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
