Location: Sioux City or Davenport, IA
Role: This is a junior‐level estimator role supporting senior estimators on commercial/industrial projects — wastewater treatment plants, process facilities, large warehouses — assisting in quantity take-offs, cost research, bid preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform component take-offs (structural, mechanical, concrete, accessory scopes).
Assist in preparing bid documents, subcontractor scope packages, cost summaries.
Support senior estimator with cost database updates, lessons learned.
Attend pre‐bid meetings, site visits, and assist in clarifications.
Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar.
1-3 years in commercial/industrial construction environment.
Proficiency in Excel and willingness to learn estimating software.
