We are seeking an experienced Traveling Sign Installation Manager who has supervised a team of installers in the commercial signage industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of sign installation projects, from planning to execution, ensuring work is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Oversee and direct the installation team; assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training as necessary.
- Collaborate with sales and design teams to understand project requirements and provide input on installation feasibility and timelines.
- Inspect completed installations to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
- Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, negotiating contracts to achieve the best value and maintaining a strong supplier network.
- Ensure compliance with all local and national safety regulations and standards.
- Prepare and present installation reports to upper management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Sign Installation Manager or similar role in the signage industry, 5+ years preferrable.
- Excellent project management skills and experience in managing teams.
- Knowledge of electrical and non-electrical sign installation, sign design and installation techniques, materials, and tools.
- Understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Willingness to step in on Installs, as needed.
- Proficiency in using project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
