Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Sign Installation Manager who has supervised a team of installers in the commercial signage industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all aspects of sign installation projects, from planning to execution, ensuring work is completed on schedule and within budget.
  2. Oversee and direct the installation team; assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training as necessary.
  3. Collaborate with sales and design teams to understand project requirements and provide input on installation feasibility and timelines.
  4. Inspect completed installations to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
  5. Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, negotiating contracts to achieve the best value and maintaining a strong supplier network.
  6. Ensure compliance with all local and national safety regulations and standards.
  7. Prepare and present installation reports to upper management.

Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. Proven experience as a Sign Installation Manager or similar role in the signage industry, 5+ years preferrable.
  3. Excellent project management skills and experience in managing teams.
  4. Knowledge of electrical and non-electrical sign installation, sign design and installation techniques, materials, and tools.
  5. Understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
  6. Willingness to step in on Installs, as needed.
  7. Proficiency in using project management software and MS Office Suite.
  8. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
  9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
