Employee Benefits Associate (2-4 Years Experience)

A well-regarded labor and employment law firm is seeking an Employee Benefits Associate with 3+ years of experience to join its practice.

This role primarily involves:

• Advising clients and plan service providers on compliance with ERISA, PPACA, HIPAA, and related federal and state employee-benefits laws

• Drafting and amending plan documents, including plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and plan policies

• Participating in and attending client meetings

Preferred (but not required) qualifications include experience with qualified retirement plans, self-funded health and welfare plans, and/or an LL.M. in Tax or a tax certificate.

Kansas Bar admission, or the ability to obtain admission promptly, is required.
