Responsibilities:
- Maintain all aspects of the schedule, trades and daily huddle
- Enforce quality and safety on all aspects of the job site.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, trade partners, and owner/engineer/architect on the construction phase from start to finish.
- Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
- Allocate resources for assigned projects
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Requirements:
- 3+ years of extensive experience in similar role in construction (References required).
- Experience in drainage installation, grading, reading plans and understanding grades
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail oriented
- Must demonstrate reliability, responsibility, and cooperation in team settings
- Must be able to communicate with foreman and follow instructions
- Must be able to follow safety guidelines while working on a construction site
- Must be willing to submit to post offer, a substance abuse testing as part of the SCG drug-free workplace
- Driver’s license required
