Job Description

As the Director of Nursing, you play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care within our facility, ensuring the highest standards of quality and excellence in resident care. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the facility
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality resident care
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training and development
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate resident care and services
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff
  • Manage budgets and resources to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident care

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent required;
  • Current state nursing license in good standing

Desired Experience, Knowledge, and Skills

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in nursing administration, preferably in a long-term care setting
  • Strong knowledge of resident rights, regulations, and best practices in long-term care
  • Proven experience in supervising and leading a team of nursing professionals
  • Familiarity with Medicare regulations and reimbursement processes
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • In-depth understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality

 

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: In person

Pay: $85,000 - $120,000 + DOE
