As we continue to grow, we're looking to add a skilled Accounts Receivable Manager to our team who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Position Overview: The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s receivables process, ensuring timely collections, accurate invoicing, and positive customer relationships. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work cross-functionally with sales and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounts receivable functions, including customer invoicing, cash applications, and collections

  • Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on past-due accounts

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to resolve billing issues promptly

  • Work closely with sales and customer service teams to manage credit terms and payment disputes

  • Establish and maintain credit limits and credit approval processes

  • Prepare weekly and monthly AR reports for management

  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and company policies

  • Recommend and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy

  • Manage and mentor AR staff, if applicable

Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in the building materials or construction industry

  • Strong understanding of credit and collections practices

  • Experience working with construction/lumber customers and contractor accounts is a plus

  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Epicor, NetSuite, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment
