Role Overview:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Metallurgical Engineer to serve as the subject matter expert on all metallurgical processes and issues across our operations. In this leadership role, you'll be responsible for maintaining product quality, upholding safety standards, and effectively communicating evolving company goals to team members at all levels. Your work will directly impact production excellence and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Champion and communicate company objectives and evolving goals to the workforce.
Lead all metallurgical processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and resolving metallurgical hold issues.
Enforce and promote safety policies across all relevant areas.
Serve as the go-to expert on metallurgical quality and process integrity.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science required.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly across teams and levels.
Willingness and ability to gain in-depth knowledge of machinery and equipment used in relevant departments.
Exposure to all production operations and a general understanding of company administrative processes.
Proven leadership capabilities—conflict resolution, team-building, fairness, and ethical decision-making are essential.
Comfortable leading team meetings and delivering presentations.
Solid understanding of workplace safety policies and best practices.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility and mobility across departments, shifts, and plant operations.
Familiarity with ISO/TS standards or a willingness to develop expertise in these systems.
