Job Description

Seeking an exceptional Operations Manager that can aid in running and overseeing the regulatory and safety compliance of our production facility. Areas of focus include but are not limited to overseeing regulatory safety and compliance programs, coordinating with plant team members, and various other managerial responsibilities within the plant. The Operations Manager will serve as an integral contributor to further company growth and development. The Operations Manager will work closely with the Plant Manager on the direction and strategic planning of the plant.

 

Operations Manager Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all related regulatory, and safety compliance tasks
  • Assist in managing maintenance program and team members to comply with safety and regulatory requirements
  • Responsible for planning and managing the execution of all maintenance projects related to safety and regulatory requirements
  • Use proven strategies to increase production uptime and process reliability to improve business results
  • Ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented for internal and external customer complaints
  • Maintain effective departmental compliance procedures
  • Monitor workload factors and workflow to ensure maximum use of available capacity and effective use of labor, tools, and equipment.
  • Assist in overseeing production planning and scheduling
  • Develop training plans for direct reports, including succession planning
  • Ensure employees are effectively trained to meet expectations of safety and GMP's

Operations Manager Experience:

  • Background in manufacturing and understanding of related best practices for safety and regulatory compliance
  • A high degree of analysis, problem-solving, and creativity
  • Experience with SAP
  • Proven Project Management, planning, organizational and decision-making skills
