Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated BSA/Compliance Officer to enhance our compliance framework. This vital role involves overseeing and enforcing our Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) programs, ensuring compliance with both federal and state regulations, and managing the institution’s overall regulatory risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the BSA/AML and OFAC compliance programs.
  • Monitor transactions, investigate suspicious activities, and ensure timely filing of SARs and CTRs.
  • Conduct staff training on compliance protocols and ensure adherence to internal policies.
  • Perform regular risk assessments and compliance audits.
  • Serve as the primary contact for regulatory bodies during audits and examinations.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure the institution remains compliant.
  • Manage and ensure the integrity of compliance-related software systems.
  • Offer support and guidance to staff on all compliance-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in BSA/AML compliance within a financial institution.
  • Thorough knowledge of BSA, AML, and OFAC regulations.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator, capable of educating and working alongside both staff and management.
  • Independent worker, able to manage confidential information with the utmost discretion.

Compensation:

  • Base salary starting at $65,000, commensurate with experience.
