Job Title: Associate Lawyer – Commercial Litigation 2-5 years post call experience

Location: Downtown Vancouver

About the Firm:
A well-established, top-tier national law firm in downtown Vancouver is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Associate to join its growing team. Join this collegial national firm with a boutique feel.

Position Overview:
The firm is actively seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 2-5 years of litigation experience. A portable practice or book of business is not required. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload and play a key role in the firm’s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research, case analysis, and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Develop and execute effective litigation strategies in collaboration with clients and internal teams
• Manage files from initiation to resolution with a high degree of professionalism and integrity
• Advocate for clients in court and alternative dispute resolution settings
• Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to the firm’s reputation

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree from an accredited law school
• Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
• 2-5 years of commercial litigation experience
• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proven ability to manage a caseload independently and meet deadlines
