Executive Operations Leader – Electrical Infrastructure / Utility Construction
Required Experience
- 15–20+ years of experience in electrical infrastructure, heavy civil, utility, or telecommunications construction.
- 7–10+ years in an executive leadership role such as Operations Manager, Director of Operations, Vice President of Operations, General Manager, or similar.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple divisions, business units, or regional operations.
- Experience delivering both public and private infrastructure projects ranging from $1 million to $100+ million.
- Strong history working with municipalities, DOTs, utility providers, developers, and general contractors.
Preferred Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- PMP, Professional Engineer (PE), or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred.
- Thorough understanding of utility regulations, permitting, and contract administration.

- Lead company operations across estimating, project management, field operations, equipment, and safety.
- Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives to increase market share and profitability.
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing leadership teams.
- Oversee company financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L.
- Improve operational efficiencies while implementing standardized processes and best practices.
- Maintain strong relationships with utility companies, municipalities, developers, and key clients.
- Lead recruiting, employee retention, succession planning, and organizational development.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
