Position: Associate Benefit Account Manager
- Assist Account Executive/Account Manager with key accounts and other assigned accounts in the following areas:
- Online enrollment/Ben Admin feeds/projects
- Obtaining documents, information from carriers
- Open enrollment preparation
- PowerPoint and Excel presentations
- Plan design/benefit option research
- General employee benefits project coordination
- Benefit guide preparation
- Open enrollment and other meetings
- Assist Implementation Specialist with:
- Renewal marketing as needed to back up Implementation Specialist (quoting, spreadsheeting, peer review)
- Thrid-party vendor coordination
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years of health insurance industry experience with knowledge of health insurance terminology and large group products and general offering guidelines
- Intermediate-to-advanced level knowledge of MS Office Suite and ability to quickly learn applicable software programs such as Agency Management and quoting systems.
- Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail
The ability to:
- Adhere to and enforce company/carrier policies, procedures and guidelines
- Maintain confidential information
- Formulate and bring to the attention of management ideas for process improvement
- Work with minimal supervision, Communicate well with others
- Manage multiple deadlines and competing projects
- Remain up-to-date with carrier products and guidelines
