Position Overview

This firm is looking for a mid-level attorney with a background in general civil defense litigation. The right candidate will have courtroom confidence, excellent writing skills, and a desire to play a key role in complex, high-stakes litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation: pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial prep
• Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and depositions
• Draft legal documents, motions, and summary judgments
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure timely case progression
• Maintain high standards of communication with clients and opposing counsel

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in civil litigation (defense side)
• Experience with general liability, torts, business disputes, or insurance matters preferred
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Licensed and in good standing with the Arizona State Bar
• Trial or arbitration experience is a plus
