Job Title: Agricultural Equipment Technician
Overview: We are partnering with a well-established agriculture company seeking a skilled Agricultural Equipment Technician to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background, hands-on experience with farm equipment, and a passion for supporting growers and ag operations.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural equipment including combines, tractors, planters, sprayers, and other machinery
Perform preventative maintenance and ensure all equipment is operating at peak performance
Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
Complete service documentation, work orders, and repair reports accurately and on time
Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with customers
Stay current with new technology and equipment updates through training and development opportunities
Support on-site service calls as needed to keep customer operations running smoothly
Qualifications:
Prior experience in ag equipment service and repair (dealership or farm-based preferred)
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
Technical certification or degree in diesel/ag mechanics preferred, but not required with proven experience
CDL or ability to obtain is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
