Job Description

Gpac is working with a great client who is seeking a Rebuild Mechanic to support the disassembly, cleaning, and rebuilding of ag equipment components—primarily hydraulic systems, PTO units, and gear assemblies for John Deere and Case IH tractors and combines. This role is ideal for someone with solid mechanical aptitude who can work independently in a fast-paced industrial shop environment.

• Disassemble, clean, rebuild, and test hydraulic pumps, PTO units, transmissions, and gear assemblies
• Work hands-on with ag equipment components using schematics and measurements
• Perform leak and pressure testing while maintaining quality and warranty standards
• 1–2 years of mechanical experience preferred; Forklift training provided if needed
• Industrial shop environment; safety- and detail-focused role
