Job Description

GPAC is partnering with a highly-regarded K-8th school in North Minneapolis to identify their next Middle School Science Teacher (7th/8th Grades).

Position Summary 

The Middle School Science Teacher will provide a learning experience that is culturally relevant, challenging and fun. Candidates should be driven to prepare children for the future by helping them build confidence and a strong sense of self-worth. Candidates with experience guiding hands-on learning (including experiments, inquiry-based learning, etc.) are strongly preferred.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

• LICENSURE:
  • Option 1: Current Minnesota teaching license in content area / grade levels (preferred)
  • Option 2: Equivalent knowledge / experience and willingness to obtain licensure

• At least two years of experience with a proven track-record of high achievement in the classroom
