Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing. As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing aspects of nursing operations within our organization as assigned by the Director of Nursing. Responsibilities May Include:

  • Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor and evaluate nursing care delivery to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations
  • Manage staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient care
  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate patient records and documentation
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in nursing practices and technologies
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Current RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in acute care, home health, or nursing home settings
  • Previous experience in nurse management or leadership role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare regulations
